Okanagan Indian Confederacy, Penticton BC, Canada
This is a technology developed by a group of 1st Nations grassroots tribes, most notably the Okanagan Indian Confederacy. The impetus for creating the L.O.V.E. WIFI technology was for the purpose of bringing Internet connectivity to the Reservations.
Indigenous communities have suffered from a lack of infrastructure, especially Internet, and even when some options are available, lower-income people struggle to afford connectivity due to prices.
Lack of adequate technology, faulty connections, and underfunded broadband projects contributed to the 65.2% of households in First Nations reserves (in Canada) not having access to the Internet.
According to Alberta’s 2022 Broadband Strategy, 80 per cent of Indigenous communities do not have internet access at the target speeds.
To resolve that issue, a brilliant technologist and engineer, who is also a member of the 1st Nations, has worked for a decade with an amazing team to design and implement the hybrid Mesh /4G + / and Satellite communications technologies utilized in the L.O.V.E. Baby Pods. There are also larger versions of the individual Baby Pods coming soon for households, and businesses. While the impetus is to support indigenous peoples, this technology is so important, it is being released to the entire world.
A portion of all sales, and monthly service fees, go to supporting the needs of Indigenous peoples globally.
The L.O.V.E. Pod is currently available for shipping to Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Further countries will be rolled out soon.
If you are among the first people to have a L.O.V.E. Pod, they work alongside 4G +, FirstNet, and satellites as a Distributed Mesh Network, meaning the more there are, the faster and stronger everyone’s signal becomes. Although your Pod starts with a small group, it will only grow stronger and faster.
If you find a location with less than adequate connectivity, please visit https://loveglobalwifi.com/report-dead-zones/ and REPORT the area.
This is a truly brand new, clean (no 5G), extra private, secure, and encrypted Network. As early adopters you are helping to seed this Network as a community.
Each Pod is like adding a cell tower, broadcaster and receiver, to the Network. If you have an issue with the Pod, you may return your Pod for a full refund within 60 days of purchase. Shipping and merchant fees are not refundable.
We ship by ground using USPS in the United States. It is supposed to take only 5-6 business days, we have found that it may take a bit longer, up to a week. Shipping to Canada is a longer wait, and more expensive.
When an order comes in, we get them shipped out as quickly as possible, no longer than 3 days, so please be aware delivery can range between 1 and 2 weeks in the U.S., or longer for Canada.
