Secondly, because we connect through the strongest local towers, satellite, and our own internal mesh network, it make take several minuets for your pods light to go from red to green. Once it is green you will be all good to go however keep in mind that this can happen each time you  turn your pod off and then on again especially when connecting in a new area.

Lastly, when you go to purchase your data package please do not connect to your pod before doing so as until you make that purchase your pod is not active and it will not attach the plan to your device.

Installing a physical Sim Card

Today we will be discussing how to install a physical sim card. We currently offer packages in NA and a few other countries with more coming in the next year. Having said that you may want to utilize this device and the data protection it provides in a country we do not currently offer service in. To do this you will want to install a physical sim. Thankfully this is very easy to do. First make sure that your love pod is not turned on. Then grab the sim tool that comes in your love pod box, and insert it into the sim tray located on the right side of your device. Every nano sim card has a cut taken off on the upper right side. Simply align this with the same cut out on your sim tray and insert it back into your device. From there turn your pod back on and you’re all set.

L.O.V.E. Pod password reset:

In todays video we will be discussing how to reset the password on your love pod in case you have forgotten what you set it to. It’s really easy so let me show you what to do. In the box of your love pod you were given a sim tool that can also be used to do what’s known as a hard reset to the device that will also reset the password back to the original, located here on the back and is what you used when initially connecting to your device. On the top of your love pod you will notice a small hole right next to the power plug in. Press the pointy end into the hole for 5-10 seconds and then remove. You will notice that the device has powered off and then back on again but with a red light. Let it sit until the light is green again.

Network Optimization

In this short clip I wanted to discuss why we have a network optimization tool and what to do to get the best possible connection. For some of you, when you first turn your pod on you may notice that you are only getting a sliver of a data connection or none at all. When this happens the first thing you want to do is a network optimization which is located in the love wife app. When you do that your device will go red if it wasn’t already. Once it turns green, which can take 5-10 minuets, you will then want to turn your pod off and then on again wait for 5 minuets and then repeat that process. Because the love pod connects to multiple different carrier towers it is establishing a signal with the best connection the first time and then strengthening that connection on the second power cycle. If this does not resolve your issue you will then want to send in a report which you can do through the love global wifi website.

Some of you may have been experiencing an issue receiving a Registration Authorization Code when registering an account on the love wifi app. The reason for this is because your email may have been designated as spam which in turn will block this code from coming through. This can happen if you’ve had that email for an extended period of time or if you use it for marketing purposes. If this happens to you we recommend setting up a new email that will be used just for logging in to the love wifi app. This should fix your issue and allow you to receive a code so you can complete the set up process.
